My Future Plans

I've thought long and hard about the things I'd like to accomplish. I know there's a lot of people my age that haven't even given a thought of what they'd like to do after high school, but I decided not to be one of them. I have everything plotted out inside my head like a list of groceries on a crumpled piece of paper. Once I accomplish one thing, I'll cross it out in my head and move on to the next.
It's finally 2010, my graduating year. The year that I figure out if everything I've worked for pays off. I'm going to try my hardest to keep my grades up. Before I found inspiration to do something, I never cared about my grades or my future but now that I know what I want to do I want to work hard to reach my goal. After I graduate in May, I want to move to the big city and find a good job, attend college, and figure out who I am exactly. It won't come easy, but no one ever said life is easy. Whatever doesn't break me might make me stronger. I want to leave this town with no strings attached, and no chains to hold me back. I want to leave all my fears and bad memories at the door so I can wipe the slate clean.
I've learned that with a little determination and patience, I can accomplish anything and that is what I hope to do.
